DC-DC converter modules (shown above)
The Meanwell DC to DC converter module range provides industry standard packages and industry standard pinouts. This includes; SMT (Surface Mount Technology), DIL (Dual In Line), SIL (Single In Line) packages for 0.5 to 3 Watt output.
The higher wattage units (3 to 60 Watts) are available in 1.25" x 0.8" (31.8 x 20.3mm), 2" x 1" (50.8 x 25.4mm) and 2" x 2" (50.8 x 50.8mm) size packages.
The lower wattage units are designed for use with regulated inputs of 5V, 12V, 24V or 48V and can provide isolated single or dual output voltages of 5V, 9V, 12V or 15V.
Unregulated inputs are OK with the high wattage units allowing a wider input voltage range from 4.5V to 72V. Outputs include 3.3V, 5V, 9V, 12V, 15V, 24V and +/-5V, +/-12V, +/-15V, +/-24V.
DC to DC converter modules can be used to provide other voltages on a PCB (Printed Circuit Board). In addition the isolation between inputs and outputs allows either positive or negative voltages to be provided (ground the +Vout for a negative voltage). Some models also provide the option of dual + and - outputs (ideal for op-amp applications).
The isolation (1000VDC or 1500VDC, 3000VDC optional) is also used to eliminate earth loops and reduce ground-plane noise as well as allow the modules to be used in high voltage applications and provide protection where voltages are used externally... especially in external user connections where wiring errors may occur!
The MHB range of DC-DC converters are available in 75W, 100W and 150W modules. These have an industry standard pin-out in a half-brick size (2.28" x 2.4" x 0.5"). Possible replacement for Cincon, Cosel, Emerson, Gaia, Hitron, Sunpower, SynQor, TDK-Lambda, Vicor and many other supplier's devices! Output voltages 5V, 12V, 24V are standard and 2.5V, 3.3V, 15V are available on special order (MOQ). Applications include: Networking, Industrial, Telecommunications and Transportation use.

What does Mean Well mean to you? 'Mean Well' may be a name that is unfamilar to you. Mean Well specialize in power supplies... or power related products only!
